Last year, SilencerCO introduced there new Omega 9K which was a cousin to the popular best selling Omega Suppressor. The 9K was a instant hit in the industry in which it was commonly used on the 3-Lug style Sub Guns. Early this year, SilencerCO introduced the new Omega 45K which is similar in style to the 9K, but is larger in size and caliber.
The 45K is rated for 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .300 BLK.
The Specs are as follows:
The DB rating is anywhere from 133 DB to 137 DB depending on caliber.
The Omega 45K just like its older brother(Omega 9K), is built ford tough. The 45K is basically just a longer larger caliber version of the 9K, and if your impressed with the 9K, you will most certainly be impressed with the 45K. On the range, the 45K was impressively quiet and accurate, and considering the 45K is rated for 4 of the most popular calibers on the market, the amount of weapon platforms used as host guns can be endless. One of the downfalls, if there really is any, is the fact you can not change out front end caps like other popular .45 Suppressors(it has a welded front). However, this is not necessarily a necessity considering you do not really see a Decibel difference by using the .45 diameter on smaller caliber host.
On our review, we firmly believe that the Omega 45K is one of the top Suppressors to hit the market this year.
